The Nanyang Technological University’s School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering (in Singapore) has an exciting opportunity for a (Senior) Postdoctoral Fellow in Heterocyclic or General Organic Synthesis.
This position is intended for collaborative research with overseas microbiology professors from University of Washington (Seattle), University of Otago (New Zealand) and Imperial College London working on Pseudomonas aeruginoas, bioenergetics and MRSA respectively. This position performs the synthesis of Carbene and heterocyclic compounds such as azoles.
Qualification
The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: PhD in Organic Chemistry, Carbene, Heterocyclic Chemistry or a closely related field of study. Related experience is highly desirable.

The suitable candidate shall be offered a highly competitive salary and an intellectually stimulating environment. The Centre for Antimicrobial Bioengineering has about 30 PhD students and postdoctoral fellows working within, with extensive collaborations with U. Washington (Seattle), Imperial College London, MIT, etc.
