The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee calls for application from highly passionate and outstanding researchers for post-doctoral position under the mentorship of Prof. Brajesh Kumar Kaushik on “Hybrid Plasmonic-photonics waveguide for Optical Interconnects”.
The candidate is expected to have sound knowledge on electronics, optical materials, devices, circuits and system. Last date for submitting the soft copy or hardcopy of the application is on/before 25th December 2020. The duration of fellowship will be 1 year 7 months (19 months) and it may be extended to one more year. The fellow will receive a consolidated pay of Rs. 55,000 per month, in addition to research grant of Rs. 50,000 per year.
Prerequisite for Postdoctoral in IIT-Roorkee
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering/Electronics & Communication Engineering/Physics/Material Science/Nanotechnology or any other relevant field.
- Candidates who are expecting to submit the Ph.D. thesis shortly may also apply subject to the condition that they will need to furnish the proof of award of Ph.D. at the time of interview.
