🚀 Project and PhD Positions in Hydrology

Join forces with Ardeshir Ebtehaj and collaborate with Professors Miki Hondzo, Judy Yang, Leif Olmanson, and Vipin Kumar on groundbreaking projects:

(i) Dive into the fascinating world of hyperspectral remote sensing of algal bloom, both in the lab and in real-world conditions.

(ii) Contribute to hydrologic and water quality modeling of lakes and river systems, exploring super-resolution climate change scenarios.

🎓 Required Skills and Prerequisites

Bring your expertise in Hydrology, Earth Science, Computer Science, Physics, or Applied Mathematics. We’re seeking candidates with strong quantitative, verbal, and communication skills.

We want to hear from you if you’re adept at independent and collaborative work and have experience in MATLAB, Python, or a similar programming language! Bonus points for familiarity with Bayesian and frequentist statistics, optimization, machine learning, and neural networks.
