The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) is pleased to announce walk-in interviews for the position of Junior Research Fellowships at DRDO at the Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory (TBRL), Chandigarh. Junior Research Fellowships at DRDO TBRL 2024

1. Junior Research Fellow (Mechanical Engineering)

  • Eligibility: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with first division and a valid NET/GATE qualification, or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with first division at both graduate and postgraduate levels.

2. Junior Research Fellow (Chemistry)

  • Eligibility: Post Graduation in Chemistry with first division and a valid NET qualification.
  • Vacancies: 2
  • Date of Interview: 1st August 2024 (Thursday)

General Information:

  • Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as of the date of the walk-in interview. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
  • Monthly Stipend: Rs. 37,000/- plus HRA as per prevailing rules.
  • Tenure: Initially for two years. Further extension and/or upgradation to SRF will be governed by rules, with a total tenure not exceeding five years.
  • Place of Interview: Terminal Ballistics Research Lab (TBRL), Sector 30, Chandigarh.
  • Place of Work: TBRL Range, Ramgarh.

Application Process:

Interested candidates should bring their complete biodata, attested copies of mark sheets and certificates (10th onwards), caste certificate, and experience certificates along with a recent passport-size photograph at the time of the walk-in interview. Candidates employed in government/public sector undertakings/autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel.

Candidates must also bring one valid identity card in original at the time of the interview. Please report at TBRL, Sector-30, Chandigarh at 09:00 hrs on the respective date. Candidates arriving after 10:00 hrs will not be allowed to appear for the interview.

Note:
  • Initially, candidates will be screened for eligibility criteria. Only screened-in candidates will be allowed to appear for the interview on the same date.
  • No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
  • The fellowship is purely temporary and does not confer any right for absorption in DRDO.
  • The number of fellowships may vary depending on laboratory requirements.
